Latest UK Pressure Situation: High pressure is to the east of the country on Thursday, with a shallow area of low pressure west of Ireland. A southeast flow affects all areas, with a warm front bringing cloud and rain to Northern Ireland and western Scotland. A trough will be developing across northern France in the afternoon, edging slowly northwards.
