Our climate change courses are intended to inform attendees of the causes of climate change, responses to it, and the effect on business and the public sector.
Several courses are available to suit all levels of understanding. These range from a basic introduction to climate change to a scientifically challenging session which explores the consequences of a changing climate and the measures which can be taken to mitigate it.
Our day courses are held in Wombourne. However, courses can be arranged in your work place.

What you really need to know
Who is it for?
Those who are having to learn about climate change within a company or organisation. You may have read about it, and seen pictures of icebergs melting, but what exactly is 'climate change'?
Non-political viewpoint
Weather School and associated companies do not carry out research into climate change and so have no politcal axe to grind. We tell the climate change story as it is, using the latest scientific research and understanding. Both sides of the climate change debate are explored, as are the impacts on your business.
What topics are covered?
History of Climate Change, Science of Climate Change, Predictions, Impacts of Climate Change, What Can We Do? Mitigating Climate Change, plus a question and answers session.
What is included?
Lectures and light refreshments are all included.
What time does the course start & end?
The course last for a full day and runs from 10am to approximately 4.00pm
Where is the course held?
At the Wombourne Community Centre & Library, WV5 9DN. The Centre is adjacent to the A449, 20 minutes from the M40 & M5.
How much does the course cost?
The cost is £250 (plus VAT) per delegate
This must be paid in advance. You can book online now.
If paying by cheque they should be made payable to "Weather School" and sent to Weather School, The Weather Centre, 188 Common Road, Wombourne, Staffordshire, WV5 0LT.
Payment is due 14 days prior to start of course. Cancellations are only excepted after this in extraordinary circumstances.
