Welcome

The Wombourne & District Scientific & Natural History Society was founded in January 2007 in order to “promote and discuss all aspects of science and the humanities.

We meet (usually) on the 3rd Thursday each month. From September 2007 meetings will be held in the Community Centre, Church Road, Wombourne. Until now meetings were held in the Hand-in-Hand but due to the numbers attending we have outgrown this building!

The Society is friendly, broad-based, for any level of interest. Our speakers include professionals and enthusiasts, something for everyone!

Please note that there are occasions, especially during the summer months, when we meet outdoors (see programme for details).

We look forward to welcoming you to our meetings and when you do come along, please find a Council member and say ‘hello’!
