The Society was formed on January 15th 2007, after Simon Keeling displayed a small poster in Wombourne Library asking for anyone interested in forming Wombourne Scientific Society, to get in touch.

 

Ten people registered an interest and a meeting was called at which attendees agreed to become part of the Council of the Society.

 

The current Council Officers are:

Secretary                    -        Dr. Byron Hooper

Treasurer                    -        Derek Partridge

Meetings Secretary  -        Derek Fones

 

The Council Non-Officers are:

Dr. Trevor Raybould
